Peace and Conflict Resolution

Concordia University is sponsoring a series of academic events centered around the problems of peace and, more generally, on the management of deep-rooted conflicts. The problems to be addressed by this series will be international, national, and/or local. The series is intended to enrich and expand Concordia's present academic offerings.

The 2005/2006 schedule of events will ask the Concordia community to ponder such issues as peace and conflict resolution in Africa, how academics contribute to interfaith initiatives, alternative peace-building projects and rituals, and the role of women in global social transformations.
